John Mayberry

Big John Mayberry played Major League Baseball from 1968 to 1982, mostly for the Kansas City Royals. He hit 255 home runs in his career and in 1975 he finished second in the MVP voting. He was always a favorite of Buck O’Neil, who played and managed in the Negro Leagues and co-founded the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
