Cast of “Toni Stone”

The original cast of the off-Broadway production of “Toni Stone” — the story of one of the three women to play in the Negro Leagues — offer a loving tribute to the Negro Leagues and the players who endured.

“You don’t need to try and remember the names,” Toni Stone says. “It matters that I tell you, though. If I don’t, history ain’t much trying to remember them.”
